The Paper Presentation contest provides a platform for aspiring scholars to present their ideas and innovations in front of a very learned and erudite audience. The conference will bring together leading researchers, engineers, and scientists from around the world, for discussion over the most feasible solutions to some of the most pertinent engineering problems. Often, the interaction between the speakers and the audience results in new perspectives and dimensions of thoughts.
This event has traditionally been the fulcrum of COMET. Colloquium’s theme revolves around the vision of COMET: ‘Imagination Implementation Innovation', the 3 I’s of Engineering & Technology. With Colloquium as its flagship event, the 24th edition of COMET will focus on the importance of proposing better models, designing better mechanisms, and ensuring better performance, in spite of the limited resources available to the scientific community.
This chapter of COMET aims at providing the technological world with a new burst of Innovations, based on the age-old scientific truths, but augmented by creative Imagination and meticulous Implementation. Taking into consideration these goals and challenges, COMET ’18 promises to bring forth the exciting prospects, the diversity, and the vast scope of the ongoing research in mechanical engineering, and beyond.
The Paper Presentation contest provides a platform for aspiring scholars to present their ideas and innovations in front of a very learned and erudite audience. Prof. Shiv Kumar, Department of Computer Science, Lakshmi Narain College of Technology Excellence (LNCTE) Bhopal would be visiting Varanasi during COMET'18 for the Observation of the Conference.

To provide the professors with a chance for better evaluation of the internship applicants through direct physical interaction/interview.
To facilitate the interaction of meritorious students with esteemed professors.
The possible students for a face to face interaction would be the participants of CDQ and Colloquium. Other information would be intimidated later.
The availability of students for internships or internship offers from the professors are not guaranteed by COMET. Only a possibility for these interactions would be provided. The selection for interaction and subsequent offering of internship would be at the discretion of the professor.
COMET only seeks to facilitate internships and does not state the terms of such internships, i.e., stipend, duration, and other particulars. These should be decided by an agreement between the student and the concerned faculty.
The selection for direct physical interaction would be at the discretion of the mentor/professor. Their decision would be final and binding on the participants. COMET would only provide the student’s information to the professor and would not affect the selection procedure in any way.
